A robot hired by South Korea’s Gumi City Council as administrative officer has committed suicide due to excessive workload

Local media reports that the robot threw itself down a flight of stairs and became unresponsive.

This development threw the local community into mourning, thereby creating the record of first robot suicide case in the country

Witnesses claimed to have seen the robot officer “circling in one spot as if something was there” before the accident. However, the exact cause of the fall is currently being looked into by the authorities
