Remains of Ex PDP Deputy National Chairman Yekini Adeojo Buried in Ibadan

He died in the early hours of Friday at his Iyaganku Government Reserved Area in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The Janazah prayers were led by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Alhaji AbdulGaniyy Agbotomokekere.
Adeojo was the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP and held the prestigious title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland. He was also a notable chieftain in Ibadan.
Chief Adeojo died after a brief illness at his Iyaganku residence in Ibadan on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has described the death of the Ibadan-based politician and founding father of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Yekini Ayoade Adeojo, as the end of a glorious political era.
He expressed his condolences to the family of Adeojo, who was the PDP governorship standard-bearer in the 1999 governorship election, praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss of their patriarch.
He will be greatly missed by the PDP family, where he has been our leader and icon for over two decades.
