Following her nomination to contest the post of the National Vice President of Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria, RATTAWU, Miss Laurel Ojo of Radio Nigeria has pledged to improve the welfare of RATTAWU members in the zone when elected.
Miss Ojo made this known while presenting her nomination form to the General Manager, Radio Nigeria Positive FM, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere in Akure.
The contestant who had previously served as the state Chairman of Ondo RATTAWU, though admitted that there could be challenges but expressed confidence that such would be surmounted efficiently.
She solicited the support of all the chapters of RATTAWU in the Southwest zone pledging to put their interest in the front burner.
In a remark, the General Manager, Positive FM, Akure Mrs Olubunmi Olalere was hopeful that Miss Ojo would be Victorious at the election and perform excellently in the position.
