Police Arrest Pastor for Defiling Teenager
A 43 year old man identified as Pastor Clinton John has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 16 year old girl in agbado area of Ogun state.
The suspect was arrested after the parents of the victim had reported the case at Agbado divisional Police Station.
The parents of the victim told the policemen attached to the division that their daughter after being treated for reoccurring infections, and exhibited frightful tendencies confessed that the suspect had been having sex with her since November, 2022.
They claimed that the suspect had allegedly threatened to kill the victim if she ever revealed the cagey affair to anyone.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola who confirmed the arrest of the suspect in a statement said the suspect confessed to the crime and admitted that he had sex with the teenager several times
She said the victim had been issued with medical forms for treatment and examination while the suspect would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department Eleweran for discreet investigation.
