Pensioners’ FM Abdulmumeen Ishola, Family Hold 8th Day Fidau for Grandmother “Mama Odinjo”

The 8th day Fidau programme for Late Alhaja Sidikat Ajoo Adekola popularly known as “Mama Odinjo” has been held at her residence, Kajola –Irede Community, Odinjo, Academy Area, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Late Alhaja Sidikat Ajoo Adekola was the maternal grandmother of Pensioners’ FM Head of Yoruba Presentation Unit, Mr. Abdulmumeen Ishola.

In a sermon, an Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Ishiaq Olayiwola, said death was the necessary end of human beings irrespective of achievements, successes or otherwise hence the need to live exemplary and impactful life.

Alhaji Olayiwola who emphasised that living a religious life and service to humanity will lead to celebration of life as such a person’s good deeds will live after the demise, noted that the late Alhaja Sidikat Ajoo Adekola was a woman of peace , community leader of note and a family unifier.

Speaking on behalf of the family, one of the grandchildren and Head of the yoruba Presentation units, Pensioners’ FM Mr Abdulmumeen Ishola said late Alhaja Sidikat Ajoo Adekola was a true mother and woman of integrity worthy of emulation.

The 8th day Fidau for late Alhaja Sidikat Ajoo Adekola was attended by Islamic Clrics the deceased children, family and friends including the General Manger Pensioners’ FM Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu and his wife Morufat , as well as PDP Stalwarts from Lagelu local government council of Oyo State.

Aged 96, the Late Alhaja Sidikat Ajoo Adekola “Mama Odinjo” died on the 31st of August, 2024 and was burial the same day according to Islamic injunctions.
