Oyo SWAN Organises 5-Aside Football Competition
As part of efforts to foster unity among Sports Writers’ and media houses in Oyo State, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Oyo State Chapter, in conjunction with the Ibadan Football Council, has organised a one-day football gala competition tagged ‘SWAN/IFC 5 Aside Gala Competition’.
The event, is scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the 5-aside pitch of the Olubadan Stadium, and promises to be an exciting encounter among media houses in the state.
Sponsor of the competition, Chairman Ibadan Football Council, Mogaji Rotimi Ali, stressed the need for unity among sports journalists urging them to embrace fraternisation.
Chairman, SWAN Oyo state Chapter, Ayomiku Ajibola, charged sports writers on unity and commitment to duties, while also urging sports enthusiasts and fans to come out en masse to support their favorite sports writers and OAPs.
