Oyo NAWOJ Seeks Divine Guidance for New Administration
The newly elected executive of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ Oyo State Chapter led by the Chairperson, Mrs. Omolola Alamu, has held a thanksgiving to enhance the success of the new administration in Ibadan
The thanksgiving service held at Oke Ado Baptist Church, Ibadan pulled large members of the association, leadership of Nigeria union of journalists, Oyo State council as well as family and friends of the newly inaugurated executive.
The new Oyo NAWOJ Chairperson flanked by her husband, Dr. Olawale Alamu, members of her exco and Oyo nuj chairman, Alhaji ‘Demola Babalola and the state executive members joined by other journalists, danced to the altar to seek spiritual blessing for the new administration.
In a short exhortation before praying for the journalists, the Minister-in-charge of the church, Rev’d Sunday Adeboje enjoined the new administration of Oyo NAWOJ to deal in the fear of God
Speaking , Chairman, Oyo NUJ, Alhaji Demola Babalola, urged the new administration led by Omolola Alamu to reach out to all agrieved members of the association to make it formidable
In an interview, Oyo NAWOJ Chairperson who’s also a staff in the news division of Radio Nigeria’s Premier FM 93.5 promised to prioritise members welfare as well as issues bothering on women and child development in all the association’s activities.
