Ondo Decides: INEC Expresses Satisfaction on Voting Process
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the Governorship election across the 18 local government areas of the state.
INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC in Ondo State, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola gave the expression while monitoring the voting exercise in Central Senatorial District of the State.
Mrs Babalola in company of INEC National Commissioner, Mr Kenneth Onyeakwu said reported cases of hitches from some polling units were attended to promptly.
On his part, the Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Oladipo Abayomi in company of heads of other security agencies commended the peaceful conduct of the electorate.
CP Abayomi also expressed confidence in the electoral umpire.
The INEC monitoring team visited Akure South, Akure North, Ifedore and Idanre local government areas.
