Oba Olaoye Gets Staff of Office as 21st Soun of Ogbomoso
Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has presented the instrument and staff of office to the Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye as the 21st Soun of Ogbomoso
The governor, after the presentation, advised aggrieved parties from other ruling houses to withdraw their court case and toe the line of peace or face the big battle of government.
He described the emergence of Oba Olaoye as credible, saying his reign would spring meaningful and rapid development of the ancient town of Ogbomoso land
Earlier in a goodwill message, the immediate past vice president of Nigeria, professor Yemi Osinbajo who confirmed his long standing relationship with Oba Olaoye said the monarch would attract outstanding development to Ogbomoso land.
The Osun State government, Senator Ademola Adeleke Congratulated the the 21st Soun of Ogbomoso, praying long reign for the king.
Oba Olaoye in his speech, attributed his coronation as a call from God to serve the people of Ogbomoso and the land, it was a dream com through.
Today, Ogbomoso land stands at the crossroads of history and I will task the people of Ogbomoso land to work for its greatness”

Oba Olaoye appreciated the government for his efforts in Ogbomoso land promising to use his connections and skills to ensure rapid development of the ancient town, saying he woukd not rest until Ogbomoso is listed among major cities in the world.
