NSCDC Arrests Four for Rapping Two Girls in Osun
The Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has apprehended four men for allegedly raping two young girls on 3rd December, 2023 in Iwo, Osun State.
The suspects Sadiq Opeyemi, aged 30, Afeez Olalekan, 26, Ismail Ibrahim, 30 and Abdulahi Garba, 33, were paraded at the NSCDC Headquarters.
Addressing Newsmen, the State Commandant of the corps, Igbalawole Sotiyo, said the defiled girls were lured with the sum of N500.
Sotiyo said the suspects serially abused the girls, aged 12 and 13 years, sexually, adding that the suspects had confessed to the crime.
H stressed that the victims whom were living with their grandparents, claimed they were not properly cared for which made them to engage in street begging to survive.
The Osun NSCDC boss assured the public that the perpetrators would face full wrath of the law to deter others with similar intentions.
