NAFDAC Inaugurates Breast-Milk Substitute Committees in 32 States

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has inaugurated Breast-Milk Substitutes (BMS) committees in 32 states to enforce breastfeeding regulations, boosting infant health and protecting mothers.

Director-General of the agency , Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye emphasised breastfeeding’s unique health benefits, urging the committees to ensure compliance with the BMS Code nationwide.
