IGP Orders Investigation into Police NSCDC Officers Clash in Osogbo
The inspector general of police Kayode Egbetokun has ordered discreet investigation on the recent confrontation between some police and NSCDC officers in osogbo, Osun State.
Egbetokun in a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi , expressed his displeasure and described the act as public display of dichotomy
The Inspector General of Police therefore ordered his assistant in charge of zone 11 to unravel the root cause of the confrontation
The IGP however called for calm as the police force would continually work in collaboration with relevant sister security agencies towards ensuring safe and secure environment.
It would be recalled but bythat a viral video of public confrontation between officers of the Nigerian police force and Nigeria security and civil defense corps emerged where the armed officers were openly assaulting one another in osogbo
