The Chief Executive Officer of Womai City, Pillar Olufemi Adepoju, has revealed that his journey into the real estate business was inspired by a dream, which later translated into a thriving enterprise that has stood the test of time for 25 years.
Adepoju made the disclosure during the 25th anniversary celebration of the company held in Ibadan, where he recounted how the vision he received years ago has grown into a formidable force in Nigeria’s real estate and construction sector.
According to him, the company has witnessed steady growth over the years, expanding its footprint through innovative property development and construction projects, despite numerous challenges encountered along the way.
The anniversary ceremony was a glamorous event that attracted dignitaries from different sectors of society, including traditional rulers, captains of industry, and members of the clergy who gathered to celebrate the milestone achieved by the company.
Among the notable religious leaders present was the General Overseer of Comfort Life Mission International, Odekunle Epaphras, popularly known as Olorun Ojiji, who joined others in commending the resilience and vision of the company’s leadership.
Womai City is known for its focus on delivering affordable and quality housing, commercial spaces, and infrastructure, while creating sustainable communities within Ibadan and other parts of Oyo State through property development, investment, and construction solutions.
Reflecting on his entrepreneurial journey, Adepoju narrated how he overcame significant setbacks, including being defrauded by an employee, noting that the experience did not deter him but rather strengthened his resolve to build a credible legacy in the real estate business.
He explained that the company’s success is evident in the numerous edifices and markets it has constructed, driven by innovation, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Speaking at the event, a retired Commissioner of Police, Ayodele Sonubi, attested to the integrity of the Womai City CEO, describing the company as scandal-free over the years and praising Adepoju for maintaining uprightness and transparency in the real estate sector.
In separate remarks, Prophet Odekunle Epaphras urged Nigerians, particularly those in the diaspora, to patronise Womai City in the acquisition of properties, affirming that the company remains reliable and trustworthy in its dealings.
