Governor Seyi Makinde will officially flag off the 2025 edition of the Omituntun Free Health Mission on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Ibadan North East Local Government Secretariat, Iwo Road, Ibadan.
This was disclosed by the Oyo State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, who emphasized that the initiative is designed to provide free, high-quality healthcare services to residents across all 33 local government areas of the state.
The six-week-long medical outreach will deploy a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals to deliver vital services directly to communities, ensuring improved access to essential health care—especially for those at the grassroots.
Dr. Ajetunmobi urged residents to take full advantage of the opportunity, describing the initiative as a reflection of the Governor’s deep commitment to public health.

Health services offered during the mission will include:
Free surgical procedures
General and specialist consultations
Dental and eye care services
Cervical cancer screening and breast exams
Vital signs monitoring
Physiotherapy
Tuberculosis screening
Health education and food safety awareness
The Omituntun Free Health Mission is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the well-being of its citizens and build a healthier Oyo State.
