Fighting Against My Ministry is Not God Ordained – Pastor Kumuyi
The General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi has cautioned against fighting and unholy rivalry among the body of Christ.
Pastor Kumuyi, who quoted relevant portions in the bible, emphasised the need for Christians not to fight their pastors and ministers, as well as the brethren saying such act was not ordained by God.
The Cleric, while preaching through a telecast during the Sunday Worship Service, declared that though he would not fight any member or minister in his church, stressed that anyone fighting against his ministry and calling would incur divine wrath because it was not ordained by God
Your pastor is there as your father and he’s leading you in the right direction and the caution is…”fight not!”. Don’t fight the fight the lord has not appointed. Don’t not fight the ministry and the calling.” He warned
He condemned the spate of rife and fighting amongst clerics, and ministers of God, saying its not ordained by God.
We are not to fight the Pastors, Minister and Members, now we hear one section of the choir fighting against another, it’s a fight the Lord hath not ordained. We will not destroy ourselves in Jesus name”
Pastor Kumuyi, who noted that the trend was the antic of the devil, charged ministers of the gospel to join force and fight against the devil, unrighteousness and the corruption ravaging the society.
He charged couples not to fight against each other and children to desist from fighting their parents, admonishing members of the family to live in love, obedience and submission to one another.
Wives, don’t fight your husbands, men, reject the spirit that fights the wife. Make your home a resting place for every member of the family. Don’t fight the family of God, any suggestion coming to fight the brethren and cause division in the church, reject it!”
Pastor Kumuyi, urged men to be holy, bold and healthy, advising them to serve their wives and not deny them their rights.
