The Federal Government has launched Alternate Education and Renewed Hope National School Feeding Program to ensure that Nigerian Child in every location have access to basic education and are fed from Primary one to Primary three.
At the launch of the Programme in Abuja the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction Professor Nentawe Yilwat said the initiative was inline with President Bola Tinubu’s policy of inclusiveness to improve the quality of education and the living standard of Nigerians.
He pointed out that the ministry through its various programmes and initiatives would reach out to children in special circumstances such as the IDPs, slump settlements and children at disadvantaged locations.
The Program Manager Renewed Hope National Home Grown School Feeding Project Princess Aderemi Adebowale, explained that they are collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of the Project across the country
