FCTA Offers Scholarship to 20,700 Out-of-School Children
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Administration is to offer free education to the over twenty thousand out-of-school children, mopped up across the area councils.
The Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and out-of-school children’s Education, Dr. Muhammed Idris stated this while handing over the children and their data to the FCT Administration for enrollment in school.
The twenty thousand, seven hundred children were mopped up through the activities of the out-of-school Marshals who were mandated to go around the area councils of the FCT to identify these vulnerable children for enrollment.
