The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Osun State Command has assured residents of the State, adequate security measures to ensure a peaceful Easter celebration.
The State Commandant, Igbalawole Sotiyo gave the assurance in a statement made available to Newsmen, by the State Command PRO, ASC Kehinde Adeleke.
Commandant Sotiyo explained that One thousand six hundred personnel have been deployed to strategic locations including , markets, worship centres, recreational centres and other public places to ensure security for lives and property.
This deployment is aimed at preventing any potential security breaches and ensuring that the good people of Osun State can celebrate the Easter without any disruptions”
NSCDC Osun State Command is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all during and after Easter celebrations” He assures
He urged residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest NSCDC office or other security agencies.
The State NSCDC Boss who called on Christian faithful to imbibe the Lessons of Easter, advised Drivers and intending travellers to avoid over speeding and night travels, respectively.
