Bishop Adelakun Flags off Construction of HPCC Miracle Land Cathedral
The Presiding Bishop of Victory International Church Worldwide, Taiwo Adelakun has flagged off the construction of a multi-million-naira Miracle Land Cathedral for His pavilion Christian Centre, HPCC established by Revealed Word of His Power Ministry in Ibadan.
The Miracle Land situated at Disengof area Kolapo Ishola road, Ibadan, is envisioned to house a Cathedral, Hospital and School to impart the immediate community and the society at large.
Bishop Adelakun, flanked by the HPCC Lead Pastor, Rev’d Niyi Dahunsi and his wife, Prophetess Debbie, prophetically laid the first brick and anointed the foundation in the presence of other dignitaries, ministers and members of the church.
In a short exhortation, Bishop Adelakun advised Nigerians not to allow their present situation prevent them from attaining their set goals.
The Cleric, noted that the current challenge in the country is capable of derailing an individual from achieving his/her vision however emphasized the need for Nigerians to move closer to God.
He Narrated his experience to the leadership and members of HPCC, saying his ministry grew gradually from lowest level to international level and admonished the congregation not only to listen to God but build harmonious relationship with relevant associations and distinguished members of the society so as to leverage on their strength and wealth of experiences.
Earlier in his address, HPCC Lead Pastor, Rev’d Niyi Dahunsi said the project was commanded by God, hence the smooth acquisition of the land and the warm reception from the community.
When the gospel is being preached, people give their lives to Jesus. There’s also a necessity that there must be an impact on the community. At every time people gather, there must be a positive influence on the community. So that’s why when God showed us this place, we were amazed and at the same time happy that God has brought us here to impact humanity for the kingdom of God, salvation of souls, healing, deliverance, breakthroughs and to give the community hope, to shine the light of Christ , to bring them out of darkness of fear, doubt, sin to bring them into the hands of God where they can enjoy what we’ve enjoyed in knowing Jesus.”
In an interview, two members of the church, Mrs Oyindamola Abe and pastor Emmanuel Alabi expressed excitement that they were transiting from the red bricks, a rented apartment to a Cathedral.
They were optimistic that the project would receive grace for accelerated progress and would be commissioned in a few months’ time.
His Pavilion Christian Centre of The Revealed Word of His Power Ministry, was established in 2015 and the congregation has grown in leaps and bounds.
