Ansar-ud-deen Missioner, Seeks FG Review of Electricity Tariff

Missioner and Chief Imam, Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Agbowo Branch, Alhaji Abdulfatai Yaqub has called on government to review the recent increase in the tarrif of electricity so as not to cripple the means of likelihood of the people
Alhaji Yaqub made the called in a sermon shortly after leading the two rakat prayer at the Eid praying ground.
He explained that many vocations and jobs relied on electricity for it’s smooth running, saying increase in the tariff would jack up prices of goods and services as well as ground so many businesses which could render the citizens jobless.
Alhaji Yaqub called on Nigerian leaders to deal in the fear of Allah by delivering on their campaign promises in order engender the development of the grassroots
Commenting, the Babaloja general of Oyo state, Alhaji Abdulyekeen Abass frowned at the new electricity tariff, saying it the principle of trade and investment.
Alhaji Abass who called on the authority concern to reverse to the old tariff noted that the people were yet to recover from the effect of fuel subsidy removal.
He congratulated Muslim ummah and traders in the state on the completion of the Ramadan fast urging to imbibe the lesson learnt therein.
Chairman, Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Agbowo Branch, Alhaji Ismail Adegbola, who reflected on the teachings and lessons of the holy month, admonished Muslim faithful to sustain the holiness living throughout the year.
Alhaji Adegbola called on Nigerians to exhibit the virtues of love, giving, perseverance and tolerance so as to make the world peaceful
Also speaking, the Vice chairman, Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Agbowo Branch, Alhaji Muftaudeen Abidoye, advised Nigerian leaders to be considerate and learn from past leaders who had paddled the canoe of the nation successfully to enable them find peace and acceptance from the people.
Two women who reacted to the thirty days Ramadan fast, Alhaja Ajarat Gbadamosi and Alhaja Muslimat Abidoye (Mama Òyìnbó) were full of praises to almighty Allah for suataing adherent inspite of the harsh weather and economic situation of the country.
They also expressed joy at the spiritual coordination of the family and the close rapport it had created during the Ramadan fast.
