Aiyedatiwa Hails Ondo Traditional Rulers For Peace, Preservation of Cultural Heritage
The Governor of Ondo state , Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has commended traditional rulers in the state, describing them as significant ally in maintaining peace and preservation of heritage sites.
Governor Aiyedatiwa gave the commendation while commissioning the OBAS council secretariat in akure.
The governor said the new secretariat would foster unity among traditional rulers, serve as a rallying point, and pledged his administration’s commitment to ensuring development across the state.
Speaking on the occasion, the senior special assistant to the governor on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing Mr Olawoye Ayorinde disclosed that the edifice abandoned for years was completedsmoothen the administrative operations of the royal fathers
Earlier in his speech , the chairman , Ondo state council of Oba’s and the Deji of Akure Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi appreciated the governor for buikding a befitting permanent place of meeting for the traditional rulers promising an assurance of wise counsel, prayers and ensuring peace in their communities.
