The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) has filed an appeal against the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) decision to award Nigeria’s Super Eagles three points and three goals after a disrupted 2025 AFCON qualifier in Benina, Libya.
The LFF described CAF’s ruling, which also imposed a $50,000 fine on Libya, as “unfair” by the LFF.
Libya enlisted Tunisian lawyer Ali Abbas to lead its appeal efforts.
