Adeleke Inaugurates Community Development Council Executives

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke says his administration will not renege on its commitment to better the lots of his people.

Governor Adeleke stated this at the inauguration of Osun State Community Development Council Executives, CDC, at the Government House, Oke-fia, Osogbo.

The Governor while assuring his government’s determination to partner with relevant stakeholders, ready to key into its development agenda, solicited the unflinching support if the people for his administration.

Governor explained that the CDC is saddled with the responsibility of complementing the efforts of government by embarking on viable self-help projects towards meeting the needs, yearnings and aspirations of the people.

Governor Adeleke advised the CDC Executives to harness their diverse wealth of experience to make remarkable contributions towards improving the socio economic lives of the people at the grassroots through constructive advice that would assist government to enhance the living standard of the people.

Speaking on behalf of the Executives, the CDC Chairman, Alhaji Agbajelola Salam assured the executive’s commitment to carry out all policy decisions of government on developmental programmes and activities with passion to ensure delivery of dividends of democracy across the state.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa had said explained that the members of the CDC Executives were elected for their proven integrity and experiences.

Alhaji Olaoluwa while congratulating the Executives, enjoined them to put in their best in the service of humanity and support for the current administration to take the state to enviable heights.

Highlights of the inauguration is the commissioning of a coaster bus, Hummer bus and three Toyota Camry cars for the mobilization of the Community Development Council members.
