Ace VON Broadcaster, Lilian Ario Unveils Anthology ‘Petals of Life’ July 6
An anthology entitled, “Petals of Life”, by Lilian Obiageli Ario, a multi talented broadcast journalist with the Voice of Nigeria(VON) is set to be unveiled on the 6th of July.
Petals of Life, a collection of poems by the author is scheduled to be launched at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Alausa Ikeja at 10 o’clock in the morning,
The book , which further established Lilian Arion as a significant voice in contemporary poetry will attract high profile dignitaries from all walks of life including the academia, students, as well as members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm.
In a statement signed by Ario and made available to newsmen in Lagos, poetry lovers and literary enthusiasts would enjoy the first hand experience of profound and evocative work of the anthology.
“Petals of Life is a captivating collection that delves into the multifaceted experiences of life, love, sorrow, death, and joy. Ario added.
” My poems are rich in vivid imagery, personification, simile, as the poems are equally woven around human emotions and experiences, making each piece a testament to my literary prowess” she explained.
The inspiring and thought-provoking collection challenges readers to strive for better behavior while reminding them of their roots and the paths they have traveled.
At th event, Lilian Obiageli Ario will be discussing selected poems from “Petals of Life,” offering a glimpse into the heart and soul behind each verse as well as question and answer session to enable guests gain deeper insights into her creative process.
Lilian Obiageli Ario is a poet, known for her ability to convey deep emotion and vivid imagery through her writing. Apart from her work as a Broadcast journalist with Voice of Nigeria(VON), she expresses her feelings, emotions, pains, and happiness through poetry.
Lilian Ario is also Secretary of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists(NAWOJ), Lagos state Chapter.
