Adeleke Challenges Youths on Skills-Driven National Development
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged youths to use their skills and knowledge to create opportunities for growth and development, not only for themselves but for their communities and nation at large.
Governor Adeleke made the call at the 8th combined convocation of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke.
The Governor, admonished the graduands to make a meaningful impact in their communities and the world as they have been equipped with the skills, knowledge and expertise to be innovators, entrepreneurs and problem solvers.
He pointed out that his administration has been working tirelessly to support the growth and development of the institution by investing in infrastructure, equipment and human resources to ensure that the students receive the best possible training.
He commended the board and management of the College for their unrelenting efforts which has made the College continued to excel in its mission to provide high quality technological education to the citizens.
The college’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship and community development is evident in the numerous awards and accolades it has received over the years.
The Governor assured the continued support to the college in its efforts to become a leading institution in technological education in Nigeria and beyond.
While congratulating the graduates, Governor Adeleke urged them to remain connected to Osun State college of Technology Esa-Oke, and contribute to its growth and development.
In his convocation speech, the Rector, Dr. Samson Adegoke who that 10,800 students from three academic session, 2021/2022, 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 comprised the convocation list, advised the graduands to make use of their knowledge to create a path to economic development &as well as contribute to the nation’s development.
