Tinubu Swaps Governing Head of Two Federal Universities
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the immediate swap of Pro-Chancellors and Governing Council Chairmen for Federal University Oye-Ekiti and Federal University Lokoja. Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, previously Pro-Chancellor at Lokoja, will move to Oye-Ekiti. Kayode Ojo, formerly at Oye-Ekiti, takes over in Lokoja.
The presidency described the decision as part of President Tinubu’s strategy to promote diversity and strengthen national unity within the education sector.
The move aims to ensure balanced leadership across federal universities.
