Single Motherhood, Not in God’s Plan for Marriage – Prophetess Adebayo
Founder, Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry (CFEM), Prophetess Esther Oluwakemi Adebayo Adonai JP, has declared that single motherhood being practised by women in Nigeria and the world negates the divine plan upon which marriage is instituted.
She explained that most of the cases of single motherhood were fall out of improper consultation with God and ministers of God before marriage hence the reason they prioritise beauty above God the author of marriage.
It’s unfortunate that people handle their homes carelessly, most people don’t seek God’s face before choosing their spouses, many went after beauty, they neglected God who’s the author of marriage that’s why we have so many broken homes.”
Prophetess Adebayo, noted that children from broken homes bear the consequences and in most cases affect their upbringing, thereby thwarting their bright future.
Homes must not split, couples should not separate anymore because it’s affecting the children. Single motherhood and single fatherhood is not the ideal thing, it’s God that instituted the home, he gave Adam a wife, Adam didn’t ask for a wife but God saw that it was not good to for him to be alone. So he had pitty on him and created Eve as his wife.”
Prophetess Adebayo, admonished Pastors to preach against this trend on their pulpits so as to save the future of the children. Calling on them to harp on the roles of each member of the family unit to one another
By this reason, many glorious children have gone wayward and lust in social vices because the parents are not together to nurture them aright. Some lack parental care, they were left alone to survive on their own, hawking on the street and being exposed to all sorts of dangers and hazards “
She hinged the rates of couples separation and divorce on lack of commitment to the institution of marriage as well as wives not being submissive to their husband
Prophetess Adebayo, enjoined the wife to imbibe the virtue of total submission to the husband, saying two cooperation between them would engender a happy home.
