Rwanda delivered a stunning performance in Monday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)kqualifier, defeating already-qualified Nigeria 2-1

Nigeria took the lead in the 59th minute with a brilliant solo effort from Samuel Chukwueze.

However, two quick goals from the Amavubi stunned the Nigerian home crowd, securing a historic win for Rwanda.

Despite the victory, Rwanda didn’t qualify for AFCON, as Benin Republic secured the group’s second spot.
