CFEM Celebrates 15th Anniversary in Grand Style, Unveils Testimonial Newsletter, ‘New Glory Voice’
It was testimony galore at Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry (CFEM) Odo Ona Elewe, Ibadan, as Ministers and members of the church rolled out the drums to celebrate the fifteen years anniversary of the church.
The congregation and guests sang praises and danced to almighty God in appreciation of his sustenance and wonderful works in their lives as well as the rapid growth of the church.
The service which featured Gospel music ministers including Lady Evangelist Yemi David and the New Glory Choir was eventful as testimonies about church growth, Ministers and members divine touch saturated the cathedral.
In his opening address, Chairman on the Occasion, Asiwaju S.T Abiodun, a retired Deputy Director News and Current Affairs in Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station appreciated God for his wonders in the church through the founder, Prophetess Esther Oluwakemi Adebayo (Adonai) JP.
Asiwaju Abiodun, a direct neighbour to the church, who recalled the humble start up of the church from a thatch house which had transformed into a multi-million naira modern cathedral said he was also a part taker of the beneficiaries of the move of God in the church.
He thereafter unveiled the special anniversary newsletter entitled ‘New Glory Voice’ which is a compilation of testimonies of God’s wonders recorded from programmes and activities of the church.
CFEM Founder, Prophetess Esther Oluwakemi Adebayo (Adonai) JP, who reflected on the humble beginning of the church, was full of appreciation to God for surmounting all challenges of the church.
The Guest Preacher, Evangelist Jacob Osasona in a sermon with the topic: ‘The Call of God’ urged the congregation not to despise the call of God while admonishing them to respect the servants of God so as not to incur the wrath of God.
While speaking on the theme of the anniversary, ‘Sir We Wish to See Jesus (John 12:21), Evangelist Osasona commended Prophetess Esther Oluwakemi Adebayo (Adonai) JP for staying true to the divine call by showing people the way to salvation
