UAE Introduces 5Dhirams Unified Fare on Public Buses
The United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi has announced Dh5 unified fares for all public buses per journey.
The authority canceled the Dh2 Passengers who ride more than one bus to reach their destination within or outside the city no longer have to pay the base fare multiple times
According to the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), Abu Dhabi has standardised the fare structures for all its public buses, the transport authority with effect from Tuesday.
This means that when a passenger rides more than one bus to reach his final destination — whether from the city to the suburbs or back — he no longer has to pay the Dh2 base fare multiple times, the centre explained.
