Kaduna, the host city of the inaugural 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Rally is witnessing a massive influx of party members as they turned out in thousands for the event.
Commercial activities are at a bee hive state as streets, especially those within the vicinity of the Ranchers Bees Stadium, venue of the event reduced traffic and human movements to a dead slow due to the crowd.
The security barricade are at various roads and major junctions and those leading to the venue to control the crowd.
Unlike the usual experience as such crowded gatherings, the security manning the entrances into the venue are more civil with less restriction of attendees.
Medical points are also provided in case of any unforseen circumstances with the weather forecast at about 35 degrees.
The entire venue, outside and roads leading to the venue had been turned into a carnival showpiece as various party support groups, made of men and women, young and old defied the hot weather and dance it out.
Within and outside the arena, it was group after group excitedly waving flags of the party above their heads as they drum to the venue.
The streets electricity poles were not left out, having been adorned with posters of various political chieftains and candidates, each making the best use of the moment to establish his support and loyalty to the party.
Water vendors are making the best of brisk business from the addentees who had no option after a long walk from their various destinations to the venue under the scorching sun.
As at the time of this report, the event is yet to commence as dignitaries who have arrived are waiting for the arrival of President Bola Tinubu on whose instance the gathering is convened.
