Gateway Polytechnic Announces Two Weeks Closure Over Robbery Attacks
The management of Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade, Ogun state, has announced the close down of the school for two weeks over incessant robbery attacks on Students.
A statement by the Acting Registrar of the institution, Mr J.O Popoola said the management also directed all students to stay clear of the school, pending when normalcy would be restored.
The Acting Registrar encouraged the students to join the online classes that would be introduced during the period to enable them to continue lectures for the current semester.
The Institution had in the past few weeks witnessed series of robbery attacks on Students of the polytechnic, disposing them of their valuables and also raping female students of the school.
