The Federal Character Commissioner, Prince Ayodeji Abass Aleshinloye, has felicitated with Christians across the country on the occasion of the Easter celebration.
In his message through his Special Adviser (Media) Oladiipo Adegoke and made available to the journalists, Aleshinloye urged Christians to reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, love, and selflessness as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
He emphasised the need for unity among Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, noting that national development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace and togetherness.
The Commissioner further related the significance of Easter to the mandate of the Federal Character Commission, stressing the importance of fairness, equity, and inclusiveness in the distribution of opportunities and resources across the country.
The National Deputy Chairman NALGON EMERITUS encouraged Nigerians to draw lessons from the season by putting aside differences and working together for the progress and stability of the nation.
The spirit of Easter should inspire citizens to embrace fairness, compassion, and a renewed commitment to nation-building.
He called on Nigerians to embrace these values and work collectively towards building a more just, united, and progressive nation.
The former ALGON Chairman in Oyo State concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful and fulfilling Easter celebration while calling for continued prayers for the unity and development of Nigeria.
