The Treasurer of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, Comrade Moses Morenikeji, has announced the burial arrangements for his late father, Pa Emmanuel Olulere Morenikeji, scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2026.
Pa Emmanuel Olulere Morenikeji (JP) passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the age of 74 after a brief illness.
The deceased is described by family members as a devoted Christian, loving father, and respected community figure whose life positively impacted many.
According to details released by the family, funeral activities will commence with a Christian wake on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his residence, No. 7, Yerokun Street, off Ile-Lekan Bus Stop, Eleta, Owode-Academy Road, Ibadan.
The wake is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m., with family members, friends, and associates expected to gather to pay their last respects.
The funeral service will hold the following day, Friday, April 10, 2026, at Christ Church, Mapo, Beere-Oranyan Road, Ibadan, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will take place at the Church Cemetery in Ayegun, Ibadan, while a reception and entertainment of guests will follow at the Christ Church Mapo Hall.
