Harvest of Blessings as CFEM Celebrates Anniversary

It was a moment of joy and thanksgiving at the Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry (CFEM), popularly known as New Glory Church, as members and guests celebrated the 15th anniversary of the church in Ibadan.

The event, held at the church auditorium in Odo-Ona Elewe, Orita Challenge area of the city, featured songs of praise, testimonies, and expressions of gratitude to God for His faithfulness over the years.

Founder of the ministry, Prophetess Esther Adebayo, in her address, appreciated God for the steady growth of the church, which she said had evolved from a make-shift structure into an ultra-modern cathedral within fifteen years.

In his sermon titled “Divine Restoration,” the guest minister, Reverend Michael Odetoyan, urged members to strengthen their faith in God, assuring them of divine restoration of all that might have been lost.

Also speaking, the Father of the Day and former Deputy Director, News and Current Affairs Department, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Ibadan Zonal Station, Asiwaju Tunde Abiodun, advised members to honour God with their resources, noting that obedience and good relationship with God hasten restoration.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including a retired Director of News, FRCN, Elder Adenrele Ajisefini, and other clerics.

Special features of the celebration included choir renditions, and a thanksgiving session where various departments of the church offered praises to God for His faithfulness. The congregation also used the occasion to rededicate themselves to greater service in the kingdom.

Prophetess Adebayo later led a session of prophetic prayers for the congregation, declaring a new season of restoration and breakthrough for members of the ministry and their families.

The anniversary celebration, which lasted several hours, ended on a joyful note with refreshments, photo sessions, and renewed commitment by the congregation to continue spreading the gospel and impacting lives in their community.
