INDEPENDENCE DAY: Tinubu’s Leadership Influenced Landmark Projects in Ondo – Aiyedatiwa

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa says President Bola Tinubu’s leadership qualities have influenced landmark projects initiatives in Ondo State such as the dualisation of Akure–Idanre, Akungba–Ikare, and Okitipupa–Igbokoda, as well as the construction of jetties and walkways in riverine areas.

The governor made this known at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Arcade in Akure during the celebration of Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.

He explained that the state had secured 26,000 hectares of land and earmarked ₦7.5 billion for agricultural development, aimed at strengthening food security and creating employment opportunities for residents.

While appreciating the people of Ondo State for their continuous support, Governor Aiyedatiwa pledged more development projects.

The colourful independence anniversary celebration attracted a large turnout of dignitaries, including the wife of the governor, Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, the deputy governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, religious and traditional leaders,labour leaders, students’ groups, security agencies, paramilitary officials,and several associations.
