Tension has gripped the Oke-Iyimi area of Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, following the reported disappearance of a newborn baby from a local health centre.
According to reports reaching Prime News, the incident has sparked outrage in the community, with residents expressing concern over the safety and security of patients at the facility.
As of the time of filing this report, several staff members of the health centre, including nurses, have been arrested and are currently being questioned at the Area Command in Okesa, Ado Ekiti.
Although the police are yet to officially confirm the incident, relatives of the missing child have continued to gather at the police station, demanding answers and justice.
