Dantata to Be Buried in Medina on Monday

The government of Saudi Arabia has approved the burial of renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Aminu Dantata, in the holy city of Madina.

According to a statement by his Principal Private Secretary, Mustapha Junaid, the burial is scheduled to take place on Monday morning.

Junaid confirmed the development in a post on his official Facebook handle, on Sunday, June 29.

A special Islamic funeral prayer, known as Salatul Ga’ib, was held in Kano on Saturday in honour of the late business icon who passed away in Dubai at 94.

It was attended by thousands of mourners, including top dignitaries including Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.
