The Nigeria Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ), Oyo State chapter has commiserated with the former Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), Oyo state, Pastor Benjamin Akanmu over the passing of his mother.
NACJ, in a release on Sunday, signed by the Chairman, Lekan Shobo Shobowale, and made available to newsmen through its publicity secretary, Adeola Badru described the death as a huge loss.
The association stated that it received the news of the death of Mama Abigail Elefunke Ajoke Ojoose Akanmu (Nee Kehinde) with mixed feelings, especially judging by the very old age of Mama, but notwithstanding, it pains when one loses her mother.
NACJ however congratulated the former CAN chairman in the state and his siblings for surviving their mother at a very ripe age.
“We pray that God will comfort you and give you peace of mind and for the grace to bear this irreplaceable loss.
“May you also take solace in the Word of God and the grace that stabilizes believers in such a time like this.
