Social Justice Day: Ibadan Residents Seek Stiffer Penalty Against Jungle Justice
Some residents of Ibadan have condemned the dastardly act of jungle justice.
The residents while speaking on the commemoration of social justice said anyone who commits a crime must be made to face the full wrath of the law instead aggrieved Nigerians taking the law in their hands and killing the suspected criminal.
Some of the residents, Ajibulu Timilehin, Suleiman Uthman, Olugbemisola Agodi and David Michael, maintained that victims of jungle justice deserved to be given a fair hearing through the legal system before being judged.
They advised the government to implement policies that promote social inclusion as nigerians deserved equal economic, political, and social rights and opportunities
